The reason - the French consulate demands that visas be applied for in person. It was amusing to watch otherwise prim and proper people rushing downstairs to catch a glimpse of the celebrity couple. Hrithik Roshan was there the day before, but he failed to enthuse the crowd as much! What's with Bollywood and France anyway?
